Baguioness..

I spent the weekends at Baguio (06/20 - 06/22) for my grandmother’s birthday.. There wasn’t really anything so special, we checked in at The Manor (Camp John Hay) and did what “bakasyonistas” and tourists do. I’ll take my best shot in providing the minutes.. :D

Friday, June 20:

1:00 pm - Departed from Manila

2:00 Lunch - at a stop-over somewhere along NLEX

8:00 pm - Got to The Manor, checked in.

9:00 pm - Dinner at Barrio Fiesta

10:30 pm - Back to Hotel, almost sleepless until 4am.

Saturday, June 21.

 

9:30 am - Off to The Mansion!

11:00 - Mines View Park!! Shop for stuff. 

12:30 pm - Lunch out at some eatery (forgot the name, it wasn’t a popular one anyway) 

 2:00 pm - Off to Good Shepherd Convent, (they bought, ube, peanut brittle, typical pasalubong).

3:00 pm - Horseback riding! (them kids went)

3:40 pm - Off to PMA @ Fort Del Pilar.. damn we missed the exercise.. bought PMA souvenir stuff ( a shirt for me!)

5:00 Head back to hotel, then off again 20 mins later.. (a looong day..)

5:30 pm - Off to Burnham Park, went boating (while I just ate corn)

6:00 pm - Off to the Market (as in Palengke), Bargain galore!

7:30 pm - Dinner at Rose Bowl

9:00 pm - Back to hotel, lights out!

 

Sunday, June 22,

9:00 am - Off to Camp John Hay Commisary, breakfast at Mile-Hi Diner, shopping at the overruns stores.

11:00 am - Checks out, Off to Manila.

12:00 pm - Photo op @ the Kennon road Lion!

2:00 pm - Typhoon Frank shows his stuff, we end up taking lunch at a restaurant somewhere in Pangasinan.

8:00 pm Finally, back home.
